FindYourName would like to use your precise location to show your closest namesakes first.

Ever wonder who else might have your name?

FindYourName helps you find the other people in the world who share your name — and connect with the ones who want to be found.

See who shares your name

Search is real — type your first name to join in and see who else shares it.

This is entirely optional. You can search FindYourName without sharing where you live, and you can uncheck this at any time to remove it.

How it works

Three steps to your first connection

1

Search your name

Type your name and see everyone who's joined FindYourName with the same one, anywhere in the world.

2

Browse who's out there

See their country and a few things they've chosen to share — nothing more, unless they've agreed to it.

(Optional) Select your country and state/territory.

3

Send a connect request

If someone catches your interest, send a request. They decide whether to accept before any contact details are shared.

Privacy

"Everyone you find has chosen to be found."

FindYourName only shows people who've created a profile and opted in to being discovered. Nobody is searchable without their own choice to join, and nobody's social accounts are shared until they accept a request. Precise location works the same way — it's only used if you allow it, and only to sort results by distance.
